This is it! The one piece fiberglass wrap-around dash that you’ve seen on TV. It replaces your factory stock dash pad and has the openings for the display boards for the various digital gauges and TV section where the 5" color TV can be installed. The price below is for the dash empty and does NOT include any electronics. Those are located under Main Dash Electronics and have their own description and pricing information. NOTE: Unfinished items are in the raw condition when they come out-of-the-mold. NO finish work has been done to them and you would have to have experience in working with fiberglass to make a nice part. It will require sanding, cutting and surface prep before paint can be applied. The finished version is fully prepped, sanded, painted gloss black and is ready to mount.

 1 TV MAIN DASH ELECTRONICS

Digital Dash Electronics: Include all the electronics that make the dash futuristic, high tech, and FULLY functional. The electronics that come on the main driver board operate the displays for the numeric and digital speedometer and tachometer, bar graph displays for the fuel, oil, water and voltage levels, the ‘vox’ box VU display, signal/tuning displays Also included are:

Digital Odometer: This is a fully functional digital odometer with a resettable digital trip odometer to be used to log trips, oil change intervals, fuel ups, etc.

Digital Numeric Telltale Readouts: This option allows you to see numbers for the various level gauges such as the fuel level, oil pressure, voltage and water readings. Its supplements the bar graph

displays and gives you a much more accurate reading for precise measurements.

SINGLE TV DASH PACKAGE:

If you want to order the entire dash interior, AND include the fiberglass consoles that make up the dash assembly, you can order the whole dash interior as one whole package. It would come with the following; Finished dash, finished steeringwheel, finished roof console, finished armrest console and finished switchpods, main dash electronics, and a 5" color LCD display. This is one complete package. NOTE: The consoles in this package are NOT customized and are empty for you to add buttons, switches, LED's etc. If you want the consoles customized out, you would have to add the appropriate charge as listed below, or under each console individually.

FIBERGLASS SWITCHPOD

This is the console normally mounted onto the dash that has the pod ends extending down behind the steering wheel where the different functions were triggered from such as "turboboost", "oil slick" and "auto roof" among others. It can be order empty or as a customized console with the lighted LED lightbars with function labels supplied to apply to the LED faces.

 This new switchpod is now available for those who want switches down the middle to activate the right side LED lightbars. Just like on the show, the left side bars are lit and only when the momentary switches are pressed, do the right side bars light up. These new switchpod boards do NOT come with any tone sounds when pressed, but it only lights up the right side LED bars. Once the switch is released, the bar goes out.

FIBERGLASS OVERHEAD CONSOLE

This is the console that is mounted between the t-top roof glass panels on the headliner. It comes without any buttons or switches but can be ordered with a full array of various functional options; touch-tone keypads with telephone tone sound effects, randomly sequencing LED’s in push-button switches etc.

FIBERGLASS ARMREST CONSOLE

This is the console located behind the shift lever that is where window switches, power mirror controls and areas where you can install items of your own into. It comes empty but can be ordered with authentic switches.

2 TV DASH

This is the dash if you want the "Season 1" dash which had dual 4" monitors installed in the tv section. This is the dash only and the electronics are listed below, as well as the 4 " LCD displays. The condition of the unfinished is the same as the above 1 TV dash. If you want a dash ready to drop in, then order the finished version. 

After getting hundreds of requests to do the first season dual tv dash in the same quality and authenticity that the current single tv dash system has, massive research had to take place to obtain correct dimensions, sizing, layout, look and creation. 

An original 2 tv dash was used for making size and image drawings, then a brand new dash was constructed. Every aspect of this newly created dash is exact in every measurement and dimension. The end result, as you can see, is a thing of beauty!

As you can see, it is impossible to tell the difference between the original dash and this newly created exact replication. In this project, a color camera and remote vcr were fed into the dual monitors.

The dash comes complete with odometer digit readouts for overall mileage only and does not have the trip digit readouts like the 1 tv dash product line. It also has the message center that reads out various functions such as "calibrate", turbines", "heading", and more. 

The tach display board has the numeric and bargraph readouts for the engine rpm, as well as the bargraph levels of the fuel, oil, voltage and water.

The telltale board is laid out like the original and has randomly sequencing bargraph displays, scaling from left to right, just like on the show. 

If ordered, the two color 5 " LCD monitors can be connected to any video source. They do NOT have audio input, so any need for audio would have to be done thru an aux amplifier or your radio/CD/cassette unit.

In addition to the dash being designed out, new switchpods and armrest consoles had to be designed, laid-out and carved from foam. These too were drawn from the original production designers photographs and drawings. These new consoles are exact and perfect to the original ones done for the filming. The overhead roof console is also being done the same way. 

Here are 2 shots of the new roof console for the 2 TV dash product line. These shots show an "out-of-the-mold" version. 

These are the functional switchpod boards which will be mounted in the pod ends, or can be ordered separately. Switches are functional and LEDs  randomly sequence. Both pod end switches have the various functions associated with the show, such as turbo boost, micro-lock, trunk lid, etc.

 This new armrest is designed after the tv original with almost all original type switches. The colored keypad on the left side has touch-tone sounds when the keys are pressed, and the light-up buttons in the center and on the right side can be used to operate any function you want to wire in

NOTE: Due to the age of ALL PMD seats in stock, they will need to be re-stuffed AND recovered, unless ordered recovered, since all seats in stock are still in the original material and have 17 years of age on them.

if you need to replace your lost, broken or damaged PMD seat back covers, then here is your chance to get replacements that will never rot. All you need to do is drill the holes for the mounting push-tabs, have the piece recovered in your interior fabric color, and replace. It will last years and can be re-covered many times over.

FIBERGLASS HEADLINER PANELS

 

 

Marks Custom Kits is now pleased to be able to offer one of the harder items to find for your conversion or restoration, the headliner panel. These long discontinued items from Pontiac are now available as either an un-covered panel so you can have it covered in your own color scheme, or you can get it covered in Doeskin Tan which is the most popular color for interior conversions. These new headliner panels will NEVER rot since they are made from durable and long lasting fiberglass. You can get these recovered whenever you want to change color or replace the headlining material after color fade. These will replace your existing headliner and fit like a glove since they were molded from an original headliner clip.

VOICE DISPLAY UNITS

 

After producing the digital dash system for over 10 years and having many people inquire about various parts being made available as a separate item, Marks Custom Kits is now pleased to be able to offer the highly recognized voice display unit as a stand-alone item which does NOT need any other electronics to function and can be used in any car, truck or other visual application. Pictured left is the in-dash application currently being used. NOTE: All pictures on this page do not show the true clarity of the display board since photographing LEDs with lettering on them is very difficult to get the right combination of LED illuminance and detail. When the LEDs are on, the words are very clear and sharp and there is no problem reading the words or phrases.

This new product re-creates the visual effect of the highly recognized voice box where the audio voice came out in the tv show. It can be hooked up to your gm radio speaker and give a display for whatever audio is coming out of the speaker; cassette, radio, etc. The display board is available in two version, the red bargraph version, or the more "evil" yellow bar version. Both display versions can be used with the same driver board, so if you had the red and ever wanted to change to the yellow version, then you would be able to just purchase the yellow display board.

This new product also has the extra functions for "Cruise" telltale. If you have the factory option of cruise control, you can use the 12 volt signal coming from the turn-signal stem and use the LED display for the "Auto Cruise" readout. To make this work, you would have to use the factory service manual to find out the proper wire, but it normally is in the bundle coming from the steering column. And again, if you do not have the cruise option, then a 12 volt signal thru a momentary switch will function just as well.

 If you have the functional hood scoop, then you will be able to tap into the hood scoop solenoid and use this 12 volt signal. Otherwise by installing a switch and tying one side to 12 volts and the output to the "Pursuit" wire, you can manually make the on board solenoid jump the LED light bars. The picture to the left shows the "Auto Cruise" lightbar on indicating you are using the "pursuit" function.

2 TV DASH VOICE DISPLAY

This new display will accent your 2 tv dash in giving it the original look with the flashing red panel. After many requests, Marks Custom Kits is pleased to offer this latest addition to our product line. 

The hookup of this product is easy: connect to 12 volts and ground, make a connection to your speaker and the unit is operational. The extra connections for your cruise and hood scoop could be made at any time and are NOT necessary for the normal operation of this product. The price for this new display, which includes the driver board, display board of your choice, the connecting ribbon cables, the plexi cover that you get clear so you can paint it any color you want, and the labels which go on the LED faces for $ 280.00 and includes shipping in the US. Orders outside the US, please add an additional $ 20.00 for shipping. Please specify which display board you want when ordering. Extra display boards after purchase are $ 125.00 For those considering this product, the size dimensions of this product are as follows; voice display circuitboard is 3" by 3.25", and the driver board is 3" by 6". DOOR PANEL REPLACEMENTS

Have you been searching in vain for those horribly hard-to-find door panels for your car or conversion? Are your door panels rotted, torn or just worn out from years of abuse? If so, Marks Custom Kits has solved the problem. Brand new door panels for your Firebird/Trans Am !

These door panels are molded from the original GM panels and are custom built using the original layout and fabric designs. You cannot tell the difference. The fabric/vinyl/carpet design is exact and true to form from the GM panels. 

The door panels come without any of the trim or armrest holes cut out, so you must remove the trim from your old panels, swap out the upper window trim plastic, cut the holes for your armrests and door lock plates, and re-install in your car. 

The door panels are made of a non rotting plastic board which will never rot or get water damaged. While the front cloth and carpeting can be damaged, the backing board will not. Seen above are the hole cut-outs on the rear that will aid you in trimming out the proper holes for the armrests and door latch and lock assemblies. You can also see the holes where the fabric separator trim goes. Holes for the barbed push-pins are also visible along the outer edge.

Above, you can see a finished door panel mounted in a car. Nice, neat, and is brand new! The door panels are ONLY being made in this style with the most requested color, doeskin tan. The door panels are color coordinated with the fabric, vinyl and carpeting all color matched. If your looking for that original look, then these will be what you have been looking for. MESSAGE CENTER

Want to make your dash stand out? Want to add something to your conversion that will make people stare? Then this brand new Vacuum Florescent Display Message Center will do it. This small and compact display is exactly like the display that is incorporated in the companies 2-TV Dash layout and works exactly the same. You get the main driver board, 2 ribbon connecting cables and the Display Board which will show you the message readouts. The unit is programmed to read out 26 different messages listed below, and start to read out once power is turned on. The unit is not connected to any sensor or car function to operate. All the unit needs is 12 volts and ground and your ready to go. No other connections needed except the interconnecting ribbon cables.
The display board can be mounted anywhere, but because the glass module is very fragile, you will want to make sure it is insulated from major shock and/or vibration. Normal driving will not affect the unit.
