Finally, after many years of waiting, the replica fans from countries where American left-hand-drive cars must be converted to right-hand-drive, now have the option of purchasing all the goodies to create their own replica. Please note; these products will ONLY fit the 1982 to 1992 Pontiac Trans Ams and Firebirds that have been professionally converted to the right-hand-drive ( or RHD ) layout. These dashes, armrest  and overhead consoles will NOT fit and/or work properly on the un-converted cars. Also, the 2 TV Dash is the ONLY version that is being offered at this time, with no immediate plans for the 1 TV Dash.  

    Installation of these new products are the same as the LHD cars, and the installation instructions will be the same. The gullwing steeringwheel that is currently offered for the LHD cars, will also fit the converted RHD cars. No further adaptation is required except the usual steeringwheel adapter kit needed for either version. While this dash has been designed around the Trans Am, any car using the Trans Am as a donor car will be able to benefit from its use.  If any digital electronics are being considered, as long as the stock gauge cluster and factory wiring harness is being used, along with the factory sending units, the existing digital electronics should fit and work just fine.

June 2006 Update: After many requests, Mark's Custom Kits has done some retooling and has now made available for our hobbiests in Australia the 1 TV RHD dash. It will accept our 1 TV dash electronics and will fit into your 1982 to 1992 Trans-Am or Firebird, as well as the same year Camaros.

Above, you can see what the dash looks like installed in a Trans Am. The ONLY difference is that the car has NOT been RHD converted and the steeringwheel in the above car is still located on the cars left side. 

                                                        

Above are shots of the RHD converted armrest console that has been designed for these dashes. Please note, because of the transmission console layout, the gear selector readouts, showing which gear you've shifted in, is mostly covered by the console. You can still see a slight bit of the letters, but its not easily seen. 

                                                       

While not specifically designed for the RHD dash, here are shots of the NEW gullwing steeringwheel, complete with the grips that everyone wants. The wheel is still made of the same hard composite as the other wheels, but now comes with the grips on each side.

                                                                                       

Above are shots of the roof console, which has been re-designed for viewing from the RHD seat of the car. It will NOT work or look proper in a LHD car. You MUST have a t-top for this to attach properly to the roof. Without a t-top, you would have to mount the console to the roof frame by your own methods and Marks Custom Kits cannot guarantee its look and/or fit.

 

                      

   And here is the armrest console. While it is pictured here as the LHD version, the right hand drive version is just inverse and will work and fit with the above dashes.

NOTE # 1: Shipping for any of the above items is NOT included in the prices and will be calculated at the time of order and will be sent freight collect to the client who will be responsible for both shipping and any VAT and duty required. Also, please do not forget to add the $ 60 crating fee if ordering a dash. Any other smaller items ordered at the same time will be shipped inside the dash crate.

NOTE # 2: The above RHD dash, overhead and armrest consoles will NOT be sold to any client here in the US and will only be sold to countries and clients outside the states. 

NOTE # 3: Electronics sold in countries using the metric system, can have the electronics calibrated to read out in KPH, or may be sent in MPH at the choice of the client.
